Vintage 1940s Pattern, Beachwear, Playsuit & Skirt
Play Suit & Skirt: The bodice, is fitted with front underarm darts, has a knot and gathers at the left shoulder. A band at the lower edge and a side-button closing finish the one-shouldered bodice. The side-buttoning shorts, pressed into a crease in front, are fitted with darts and join to a waistband. The gathered skirt features a yoke in front and an opening at the centre back. Tie ends extend from the waistband and fasten into a bow at the centre back. Style II has a contrasting skirt.
