A4 / US Letter – Home Printing
Before scissors meet fabric, your pattern must be printed at exactly the right scale. Follow
this simple guide to ensure every stitch begins just as it should.
• Download your pattern and open it using Adobe Acrobat Reader (FREE). Do not print from a web browser.
• Open the Print menu and select Actual Size or 100%. Never use Fit to Page or Scale to Fit.
• Confirm your paper size is set to A4 or US Letter, exactly as noted in your pattern.
• Print only the page containing the test square first.
• Measure the test square carefully with a ruler. It must match the stated measurement exactly.
• Once confirmed, print the remaining pages, trim edges, and tape together using alignment markers.
Helpful Tips:
• Use normal print quality
• Turn off borderless printing
• Disable printer scaling or enhancements
A Gentle Warning:
If the test square is incorrect, stop immediately and recheck your settings before continuing.
If you encounter trouble, please reach out before cutting your fabric. We are always happy to help guide you.
