Specialising in all women's and men's sizes, multi-sizes, curvy and plus sizes, we offer PDF downloads Letter/A4/A0, also shipped full-scale patterns and if you would like to buy a piece of history, well if you hurry, the original pattern could be still available! We continuously work at digitally regrading (resizing) our patterns to help make them available to all of our customers. Check them out in our New In department. 

A bit about ourselves! 

As business partners, Gill's background of fashion design and animation degrees and her never ending talents which never ceases to amaze me and Dawn's fashion design, home staging and interior design companies are just a few examples of they pooled their resources and experiences and eventually formed Vintage Sewing Pattern Company.

We both love anything creative - not only vintage fashion, sewing and regrading etc, but the love of the arts, painting, interior design, repurposing, transforming anything, colour interpretation, drawing, illustration (Gill's speciality is Frida Kahlo - she can draw anything, she's fantastic). I'm so envious!

Our total background is definately being creative! It all started from a very early age, when we would watch our mothers and grandparents sewing, from garments to upholstery. This, we both clearly remember with so much love. We didn't appreciate it at the time but we so do now! We know how and appreciate how much work and love goes into sewing!

And so the journey continues....Our business began back in 2015 just after my beloved mother passed away and my best friend Gill reminded us both of our passion for unique fashion and sewing patterns. She did this to help my mental state of mind, which I must say, she and sewing patterns were truly my salvation! From simply sourcing patterns and posting to customers, our business has evolved so much over the years, I can't tell you how much work that we actually put into our business, blood, sweat and tears but also satisfaction and joy.

What spurs us on even more, is my late father's encouragement and happiness, who very sadly left us in May this year. Seeing us do something that we love, he would, through his Alzheimer's, help us count pattern pieces and fold the patterns; so this little story is kind of dedicated to him really and also to my 'big brother' who, with his business acumen, has helped us so much to make this all possible. He's our blessing and we can't thank him enough!
