Lumber Jacket Pattern

Versatile and cute! You'll be sewing for victory in this Wartime, Land Girl inspired Lumberjack, Battle jacket, also known as an Eisenhower jacket. It can be made in a number of fabrics, make it lightweight for spring and summer, or in a wool fabric for autumn and winter. With so much versatility from one pattern, you can adapt and expand your DIY wardrobe. Wear it with a collar or collarless, buttoned or buttonless and why not use contrasting fabrics to accentuate patch pockets, cuffs, and collars, the options are endless sleeves are short. Ribbon can also be drawn through the casing at the lower edge and fastened in a front bow.

Fabric Amount Guideline:  Views 1,2,4, & 5 require 3.25 yards (3 metres). View 3 requires 1.6 yds (1.5 meters).

What You Will Receive
If you select a Paper Pattern, you will receive a true to scale reproduction sewing pattern printed on A0 premium paper, along with instructions and a full colour front cover. Your pattern will arrive in a clear resealable envelope for easy storage. If you choose to purchase the original pattern, you receive a piece of history that will include age-related wear and tear!

Sizes

Please note that the size number (e.g. size 12) on the reproduced vintage pattern will most likely be completely different to today's sizing. The further back in time you go, the smaller the clothes get, and you may have to adjust up another size or two.
