40s Short Sleeved Sweater With Flower Trellis
THIS delicious little peasant jumper is knitted in reverse stocking-stitch with the fascinating trellis pattern embroidered on afterwards in the form of bunchy buttonhole-stitch bobbles. It has a zip fastener up the front. The jumper can be embroidered with pretty sprigs of flowers in bright colours as in the front cover photograph, or simply left with the trellis embroidery. (See back cover.) The wide ribbed borders are edged with a few rows in a contrasting colour.
