40s Underwear, Nightdress & Slip Set
The night dress has the skirt joined in a curved line to the bodice that is gauged at the front waist and has the scalloped upper edges trimmed with lace to match the shoulder straps. The petticoat is cut by the same pattern as the nightdress, darted at back waist and held up with ribbon shoulder straps. The knickers are cut on the cross, gusseted between the legs and edged with lace. There is a left side fastening.
