I think it's a great idea to save this old pattern from obscurity.
I'm not an experienced sewer so the vintage instructions were confusing sometimes, but I managed to finish a shirt. I intend to use this pattern again.
Excellent download. Dawn was quick to respond with my questions and offered post support. Excellent customer service. Great price. Instant download for home printer and options to take to a print shop to be printed.
I sewed this pattern for my bf by slashing and spreading the pattern to size it up. I adjusted the sleeves to make the raglan cut even more into the shoulder, to make it look more like the illustration, but i could have gone even further. I found the button band construction challenging but this is likely due to inexperience and the fact that when I changed the pattern, this part ended up not quite being correct. One thing about the pdf pattern is that I found it a little hard to line up the pieces without some distortion. However, there is some distortion even in the original pattern itself, because two of the same piece that fit completely on one piece of paper were a little different from each other. Overall, I love this design and vintage pattern.
