Use the size chart above to find your closest modern-day size equivalent in the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the USA or Canada, using your bust measurement in inches or centimetres.

How to Measure Your Bust

  1. Wear a well-fitting bra.
  2. Wrap a measuring tape around the fullest part of your bust.
  3. Keep the tape level across your back and comfortably snug, without pulling it tight.
  4. Record your measurement in inches or centimetres and compare it with our size chart.

For the best fit, always choose your pattern size based on your body measurements, not your usual shop size. Always check your bust measurement before ordering!

I absolutely fell in love with the look of this jacket and just had to make it!! The instructions are hard to follow since they’re old so if I could give a tip to anyone, it would be to input the step you’re on into chatgpt (ai) and have it translate it into more modern and easy to understand instructions! Other than that, the pattern was easy to print out and assemble and I’m in love with the end product! I had to improvise the waistband a little since I messed up the zipper

Great download. Worked well as a pattern. I needed a larger size than the pattern came with, but it is simple enough that I could add to it and make it work for what I needed.
