Meet the Team! Our team is a perfect blend of diverse skills and experiences! Dawn, one of the co-owners and Head of Operations & Customer Service, is a qualified Interior Designer, Seamstress, Home Stager, and Teacher. Her brother Dave, the other co-owner, is a seasoned SEO Business Analyst with 30 years of experience, ensuring we stay on top of our game. Our team also includes Kate, our pattern tech genius, Lauren, head of dispatch, and Maira, Amber, and James, who handle a variety of tasks with enthusiasm.
Our journey began in 2015, shortly after the passing of our beloved mother. My best friend Gill reignited our passion for unique fashion and sewing patterns, which became a crucial part of my mental recovery. From simply sourcing patterns and posting them to customers, our business has evolved tremendously. We have poured our heart and soul into this business, and it's been a journey of hard work, satisfaction, and joy.
The memory of my late father's encouragement and happiness drives us forward. He sadly passed away in May 2020, but even through his Alzheimer's, he would help us count pattern pieces and fold the patterns. This story is dedicated to him.
