In 1960, the fashion designer, Princess Irene Galitzine, launched her "palazzo pyjamas", which became popular. The pea coat was popular for men in the mid-60s. From the mid-1960s, men’s fashion was influenced by military element while The Beatles’ popularised the Nehru jacket.
