Brand Simplicity

The Simplicity Pattern Company was founded in New York City in 1927 by Joseph M. Shapiro alongside his wife and son. They wanted to make home sewing cheap and easy. Their patterns cost only 15 cents and helped families make clothes during the Great Depression. See pattern companies for more details.
