How to Measure Your Bust

  1. Wear a well-fitting bra.
  2. Wrap a measuring tape around the fullest part of your bust.
  3. Keep the tape level across your back and comfortably snug, without pulling it tight.
  4. Record your measurement in inches or centimetres and compare it with our size chart.

For the best fit, always choose your pattern size based on your body measurements, not your usual shop size. Always check your bust measurement before ordering!

Customer services is prompt and very helpful. Excellent overall! I have communicated much in figuring out the quirks inherent in vintage patterns. Note to buyers: This company has given a lot of time and effort to digitize, and thus preserve and make available to everyone, these beautiful vintage designs. How wonderful! The original pattern often has inconsistencies—that is a problem from the original designer who created the pattern, not this company that digitized it. Often the original pattern was unprinted and had only perforations to indicate darts, tucks, etc. Most of these this company has added stitching lines where there were none in the original—very helpful. Some stitching lines are not there. If you had the original, you’d have no stitching lines to guide you; they have done a lot to help us sew vintage!!!
