So messen Sie Ihren Brustumfang

  1. Tragen Sie einen gut sitzenden BH.
  2. Legen Sie ein Maßband um die vollste Stelle Ihrer Brust.

I used this pattern to make a 50s style formal dress for my daughter, and she was happy with it. My only negative comment is that it is quite an expensive pattern for only one size, and as I wasn't able to grade between sizes there was a lot of guesswork and several toiles made to try to get a good fit. I like that this dress pattern has a zipper opening rather than buttons, like some others. It was also simple enough to add ribbon loop panels to the back so we could put in laces. My daughter added a sash belt also, so that the waist was tighter and the dress sat nicely with a stiff petticoat under.

The pattern is lovely and easy to follow.
If you’re a beginner like me, I recommend making a mock-up of the bust first. I’m looking forward to trying this pattern again once I get the fit right.

Such an amazing experience with the shop owner. Gill was very responsive and helpful with my order. This is my first attempt to this vintage dress and I'm in love with it.
I will definitely return!
Thank you 🖤🖤

Love this pattern! I still need to do some finishing touches, but the dress went together went a lot easier than expected.

This is a beautiful pattern! I only learned to sew the last few months, and found it easy to follow and complete. The instructions are clear and precise, and all pieces line of beautifully, creating a beautiful shape when finished. This was the first truly vintage pattern I followed, and I could not recommend it enough! I would also commend the seller for being very helpful! Now, if only there were more sunny days, so I could wear it over and over..
