Women's 1940s Shorts Pattern
Women's Shorts: The shorts, styled with a pocket, are seamed down the center front and back. Style I has front and back pleats. In Style I and III, a left side opening and waist band are featured. Style II has a flap on the front pocket. Elastic is inserted through the casing at the upper edge. In Style III, the dart-fitted shorts fold at the lower edge to form a cuff.

Please note that the size number (e.g. size 12) on the reproduced vintage pattern will most likely be completely different to today's sizing. The further back in time you go, the smaller the clothes get, and you may have to adjust up another size or two.
